The chefs Cristian and
Damiano Carminati take their inspiration from the local produce
and give it a modern touch.
Interesting is the "Antipasto alla Castagneto",
ideal starter for true gourmands. Pasta and ravioli are homemade,
mushroom risotto and "Paniscia" (risotto with cabbage
and duja sausage) are excellent.
The main courses range from the traditional "donkey
stew" to deer fillet in blueberry sauce; both lake and sea
fish are always available.
To finish, there is a choice of tempting desserts
made by Damiano, including Zabajone with short crust biscuits and
chocolate fondant.
The cheeses are personally chosen by Franco and
are served with homemade jam and fruit mostarda.
